Soon a new luxury hotel is coming up on the charts as the ex- Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is all set to design this new hotel in Dubai. She has been offered a monstrous amount of 25 million pounds for the designing of the hotel. The pop celebrity has turned fashion designer. Last summer the designer was holidaying in the Gulf, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates personally got in touch with this lady regarding the new hotel project.
He has asked her to squad up with Karl Lagerfeld a famous fashion designer in order to create this new project which will be situated on a fashion themed island in Dubai coast called Isla Moda Off. It is a branch of The World development in Dubai which is again a man-made structuring 300 islands. It is assembled in the shape of a map. A source has said: “Even in these credit-crunched times, the fee offered to Victoria was astronomical. She was absolutely stunned.” However, this 35 year old star has not accepted the offer yet. A sources has further added, “Victoria is always keen to look at ways of growing her business, but for now her focus is New York fashion week next month.”
Beckham has become better known as a great international style icon, rather than a music artist. In the year 2000 she made a guest appearance for Maria Grachvoge and this was her debut at the London Fashion Week as a model. She made her fashion status iconic by appearing on the cover of three different Vogue magazines. Other than all this, she is also quiet well known for her love for designer high heel shoes.
